The Challenge
Jowett Funeral Home needed two very different projects at once: converting an existing New Haven building, not originally designed for funeral services, into a satellite location, and building a new Port Huron facility from the ground up — both needing chapels, viewing rooms and family spaces suited to the solemnity of the work.
Our Approach
BlackStone renovated the New Haven building with the structural and infrastructure updates needed to meet code and function as a funeral home, while running the Port Huron project as new construction from site prep through custom interior finishes. Both projects were delivered on schedule and within budget.
