Common questions
Answers to what we hear most before a project starts.
Do you handle both commercial and residential projects?
Yes. Our commercial team handles retail, healthcare, education, hospitality, religious and institutional facilities; our residential team handles custom homes, whole-home renovations and additions. Every inquiry is routed to the team that matches your project.
What's the difference between design-build and general contracting?
Design-build means we manage both design and construction under one contract, which keeps a single point of accountability. General contracting means we build to plans an architect has already produced. We do both — the right approach depends on how far along your project already is.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends heavily on scope and permitting — a tenant improvement can run a few months, while a ground-up commercial build or custom home is typically 9–18 months. We'll give you a realistic timeline once we understand your scope.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Rochester Hills and build throughout Metro Detroit. If you're just outside that footprint, reach out anyway; we take on projects beyond it case by case.
