The Challenge
Goddard School needed an 11,000-square-foot, two-story facility built from the ground up in time for the start of the academic year — a fixed deadline with no room for delays, built to an architect's design BlackStone had not created but had to execute precisely.
Our Approach
As general contractor, BlackStone kept a project manager on-site daily to coordinate trades and catch issues early, used value engineering to control material costs without compromising quality, and built in sustainable, energy-efficient systems throughout. The school opened on schedule for the new academic year.
